Current Job Trends: Tech Non Tech Roles

For Past One and Half years, where we are fighting with this Corona Virus and still, it is going on. Due to this pandemic, many people have lost their jobs. The major impact was on IT Industry where multiple projects got ramp-down and due to which many layoffs took place in this situation. Now if we look at the current scenarios where the IT Industries are slowly getting back in a market with multiple projects and the hiring is getting started or about to start for freshers as well as for experienced candidates.

If we look at the current position which is into a boom in IT Industries, these are Business Analyst,

Data Analyst, Digital Marketing Professionals, Operations Analyst, Java Developer, Full Stack Developer, and many more. For those who want to make their carrier into a Non-Tech or Semi Tech Profile, You should apply for Business Analyst or Data Analyst Roles where you require basic knowledge regarding SQL, Excel basics, Communication Skills, etc. If you have these skills then you get a job easily. But when I say Business Analyst or Data Analyst comes into Semi Tech Role, it is not like that it will give you an entry in the Industry, but when you start working you need to explore more in the project which you got.

For example, Your Client has a Requirement related to Tableau, or In Excel, you need to run Macros for a specific task then you need to focus on these skills to keep yourself in that Project.

In the Data Analyst position more you are in a functional role where you interact with customers and work according to their requirements.  Data Visualisation is an important aspect of these scenarios.

Tableau, Power Bi, Qlik Sense are some important tools that are in boom and been used by many IT Industries.

So for Recent Graduates who want to start their career in IT Industries but they want to move in Technical Domain directly they can start there working in these of the position and explore more in these.

I have been in this IT Industry for almost 3years and been working in Analysis, Operations role so these views are based on my knowledge. Everyone has their own views regarding their experience of IT.
